CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – The Kohawk Swimming and Diving team topped Nebraska Wesleyan over a two-day dual-meet, Friday night and Saturday morning in Kohawk Natatorium. Day one resulted with a men's score of 133-69 and a women's score of 115-69. Day two resulted with a men's score of 114-91 and a women's score of 137-66.
On Friday, Coe won 20 of 26 events against the Prairie Wolves. Freshman Zach Kolker earned a season-best finals time of 10:37.42 in the men's 1000 free. Sophomore Sammi Hall earned her personal best in the women's 50 free with a finals time of 25.87. 10 individual Kohawks earned wins in more than one event.
Saturday morning, Coe led the dual-meet with winning 19 out of 26 events. Sophomore Darby Manternach has currently won the women's 50 freestyle in the past three meets for the Kohawks, completing the feat again this morning with a finals time of 25.56. Freshman Luke Baldwin walked away with three individual wins for the men's division, while Manternach, Hall, and freshman Lauren Pio each earned three wins for the women's.
