Women's Tennis Splits Double-Header Against Dubuque and Loras

DUBUQUE, Iowa - The Coe College women's tennis team split a pair of matches to open its fall season on Saturday morning with a 7-2 victory over Dubuque and 8-1 loss to Loras. The Kohawks got off to a solid start in the opening match against the Spartans, sweeping doubles competition. Coe then went on to win all but one singles match to pick up the win. Loras was on fire in the doubles portion of the second match, winning all three matches to clinch the team point. The Kohawks continued to battle in singles, but the Duhawks won five of six matches to clinch the victory.
