DECORAH, Iowa - The Coe College women's tennis team suffered an 8-1 defeat at Luther College on Tuesday afternoon, dropping just its second conference match of the season. The Kohawks fell behind early as the Norse swept doubles competition defeating Coe 8-3, 8-2 & 8-4 to take a 3-0 advantage. Coe secured its lone point of the match in singles play as freshman,
Madison Schultz earned a 6-2, 6-0 victory at number one to get the Kohawks on the board. The Norse would eventually win the remaining five matches in singles to secure the 8-1 victory as the Kohawks drop to 7-2 overall and 6-2 in the A-R-C.
