CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - The Coe College bowling teams continued their seasons at the Mount Mercy 5 Seasons Open last weekend with the women's team earning a 10th place finish to lead the two squads. The men, who took home 13th place, finished in front of Wartburg and Hawkeye Community College, recording a team score of 6619.
Tristan Corcoran had Coe's best finish of the weekend, taking 20th place on the men's side with a 190.4 average as the sophomore had a high score of 207 in his opening game.
JP Richmond also landed inside the top-50 for the men, finishing with an average of 174 to take 47th place.
Katrina Kendle led the way for the Kohawk women, posting a tournament average of 172.2 to take 33rd place as she posted a score of 208 in her opening game. Teammate
Casey Folger joined her inside the top-40, averaging 167.6 to finish 40th individually.
Lauren Bodman and
Autumn Grzenia also earned top-50 finishes for the Coe women, taking 44th and 47th place respectively.
Up next: Coe returns to competition on Saturday, November 13 and Saturday, November 14 at the Leatherneck Classic in Davenport, Iowa.
