INDIANOLA, Iowa -- The Coe College women's tennis team saw its season end on Tuesday afternoon as the Kohawks fell to Simpson 5-0 in the opening round of the American Rivers Conference Automatic Qualifier Tournament. The Storm won the opening three matches in doubles play to take a commanding 3-0 lead and then went on to secure two singles victories to clinch the match. Emma Lassen was tied with her opponent at one set a piece and held a narrow 3-2 lead at number two singles prior to the match being clinched. The Kohawks end the season 9-10 overall and 3-5 in the A-R-C while Simpson goes to 11-6 and 5-3 in the league.
