ROCK ISLAND, ILL. - The Coe College men's cross country team competed in its final tune up of the regular season, running in the Augustana Interregional Invite on Saturday morning. The race, which had 27 teams competing, featured some of the top teams from DIII. The Kohawks were led by Coe Booker, who posted a new personal-best time of 26:07.7, finishing 149th out of 276 runners. Lewis Kleman and Jared Thoma also turned in new personal bests during the race, finishing second and third for the Kohawks. Kleman registered a time of 26:35.1 while Thoma posted a mark of 26:53.2, finishing 179th and 194th respectively. Pomona Pitzer took home the team title with a total of 48 points while Wartburgs' Christopher Collet earned the top individual spot.

Up next: The season continues for Coe in two weekends at the A-R-C Championships which are being hosted by Simpson College. The race, which takes place at Pickard Park in Indianola, is set to start at 11 AM.
