CEDAR RAPIDS, IOWA - The Coe College women's cross country team was in action on Saturday, competing at Mount Mercy's Seminole Valley Stampede. The Kohawk women had eight runners cross the line and all but two set new overall bests or collegiate bests in the 5K race. Crystal Burke was first across the line for Coe, posting a new career best of 20:01.8 for a 28th-place finish. Fiona Mahler, Cailyn Wright, Alexis Vaughn and Morgana Goodlow all joined Burke, registering overall bests during the race. Mahler was the second runner across the line for the Kohawks, posting a time of 21:40.8 to earn 75th-place. As a team, the Kohawks finished in 13th place while Missouri Baptist claimed the top spot overall.
