DECORAH, Iowa - The Coe College swimming and diving teams competed in their final event of 2022 on Saturday afternoon, taking on Luther College in a dual meet at the Luther Aquatic Center and David & Patricia Miller Natatorium. Coe, which dropped both the men's and women's duals, had a successful meet despite the final scores, posting numerous event victories, personal bests and one top-10 mark. The men picked up four individual victories from Luke Baldwin and Zach Kolker who picked up two wins each. Baldwin, who claimed the title in the 1000 Free and 100 Fly, set a new personal best in the 1000 Free and moved into 10th place all-time. Kolker claimed victories in the 200 IM and the 100 Back and set a personal best time of 2:10.13 in the 200 IM. The women secured five event victories including a title in the 200 Medley Relay thanks to Izzy Craig, Lauren Pio, Margaret Rhodes and Valerie Gutierrez. Pio and Rhodes combined for the remaining four event wins, picking up two each to lead the squad. Rhodes, a freshman, continued her solid first season at Coe with wins and personal best times in the 200 IM and 100 Free.
