ANKENY, Iowa - The Coe College men's cross country team had another solid performance on Saturday morning, taking fourth place at the Grand View Viking Invitational. The Kohawks finished behind Grand View, Mount Mercy and Baker at the event but strong outings from Coe Booker, Jared Thoma and Lewis Kleman vaulted the team into fourth. Booker had another personal best on Saturday, posting a PR mark of 26:37.49 in the 8K. Thoma and Kleman joined Booker with new personal bests, turning in times of 27:20.37 and 27:29.10 to round out the top three for Coe. Five more Kohawk runners also posted a new personal or college best as Ryan Smith, Tim Long, Aidan Garica, Philip Marerro and Dexter Hein-Harrison all had record-breaking days.
