CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - The Coe College women's tennis team returned to Cedar Rapids on Saturday with a pair of American Rivers Conference victories, defeating Nebraska Wesleyan 8-1 on Friday afternoon and Buena Vista 8-1 on Saturday morning. The Kohawks dominated both matches, sweeping the singles competition against the Prairie Wolves and the doubles matches against the Beavers.
Maddie Schultz posted a 4-0 record during the weekend as the top singles player for Coe while playing with
Alliandra Hagness and
Courtney Carstensen at number one doubles. Overall, eight different players earned victories during the weekend as Coe improved to 4-1 in A-R-C play.
Up next: Coe is back in action on Wednesday, October 4, hosting Loras College at the Clark Racquet Center at 4 PM.
