JACKSONVILLE, Ill. – The Coe College men's swimming & diving team started well in its 2024-25 season, competing in a dual meet at Illinois College. Freshman
Kamen Rangelov made headlines for the Kohawks in his first collegiate competition, claiming victories in three different events. A Jacksonville, Florida native, Rangelov picked up event wins in the 50 Free, 100 Free and 100 Breast to start his Kohawk career with a bang. Fellow freshman
Maxwell Deacon earned the team's other individual victory in the 100 Fly, posting a time of 56.43 to claim the top spot. Coe's 200 Medley Relay team made up of
Maxwell Deacon, Isaiah Lawshe, Kamen Rangelov and
Giannino Coniglio recorded the best relay finish, taking second with a time of 1:48.31.
