INDIANOLA, Iowa - The Coe College Swim & Dive teams concluded their regular seasons on Saturday afternoon in a dual matchup at Simpson College. The Kohawk women picked up their first dual victory of the year, defeating the Storm 149-55 while the men fell just short, dropping a 63-60 decision to the hosts. Coe had a strong showing throughout, claiming 15 total victories during the competition. Margaret Rhodes was a part of three victories on the women's side, claiming solo wins in the 1000 Free and 100 Fly while swimming on the 200 Free Relay winning team. Her relay teammates, Valerie Gutierrez, Hollye Gutierrez and Lynice Perkins combined for a time of 1:46.55 to take the top spot. Natalie Thede and Megan Norris were the final two Kohawk women to earn numerous event victories on the afternoon, claiming wins in the 200 and 500 Free and 1 and 3M Diving competitions. Isaiah Lawshe brought home a trio of first-place finishes for the Kohawk men's team, securing titles in the 1000 Free, 200 IM and 100 Breast. Carter Tredway also earned two solo victories, taking the top spot in the 200 Free and 100 Back. Gianino Coniglio concluded the efforts for the men's team with three more top-three finishes, taking podium spots in the 50 Free, 200 IM and 100 Fly.
