CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - The Coe College Swim & Dive teams competed at the Coe Natatorium for the final time in the 2023-24 season on Saturday afternoon, hosting Luther College in an A-R-C dual meet. The program celebrated the 2024 Coe Swimming & Diving senior class ahead of the competition, honoring Megan Norris, Natalie Thede and Carter Tredway in their final home meet as Kohawks. Coe fell in the dual on both the men's and women's sides but still found success throughout the competition. Seven different Kohawks picked up top-three finishes on the day while Coe won four individual titles. Margaret Rhodes, Lynice Perkins and Norris each picked up solo wins on the afternoon with Rhodes claiming a pair of victories in the 200 Fly and 500 Free. Perkins secured first in the 100 fly and second in the 200 fly while Norris took first in the 1M Diving and second in the 3M. Norris' score of 291.60 in the 1M was good for a new pool record with six dives. Rhodes also turned in a personal-best effort for the Kohawks in the 200 Fly, moving into fourth all-time at Coe with a mark of 2:16.82. Additionally, a pair of women's relay teams took second in the 200 Medley and 200 Free relay. Rhodes, Natalie Pirozek, Perkins and Valerie Gutierrez teamed up in the medley while Rhodes, Gutierrez, Perkins and Natalie Thede earned second in the 200 Free Relay. Isaiah Lawshe and Tredway each earned top-three finishes on the men's side with Lawshe claiming a pair of second-place finishes in the 100 Breast and 200 IM. Tredway also delivered a personal-best mark of 5:50.22 in the 500 free to finish fifth. Nino Coniglio finished just outside the top three in the 50 Free, earning two points for the Kohawks with a time of 25.08.
