CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - The Coe College men's track and field team competed at Mount Mercy for the second weekend running, participating in the Mustang's DeBacker Invitational on Saturday. Three Kohawks placed in top eight positions during the competition despite limited entries from the Coe men. Josh Peters, Jared Thoma and Griffin Coates all scored team points for the Kohawks, finishing top-eight in the 100m, 1500m and Javelin respectively. Peters finished fifth in the 100 with a time of 11.07 and Thoma claimed a fourth-place mark in the 1500m with a time of 4:17.21. Coates was the Kohawks' lone field athlete with a top-eight finish, finishing sixth in the javelin with a toss of 32.06m.
