DECORAH, Iowa - The Coe College women's tennis team suffered a loss to top-seeded Luther College yesterday in the championship match of the A-R-C AQ Tournament, falling 5-0 to the Norse. The hosts got off to a strong start in doubles, winning all three matches. Luther continued to show well in singles, quickly securing a pair of straight-set victories at number three and four to clinch the league title.
Maddie Schultz won her opening set in the losing effort, taking a 6-1 decision over Sofia Sackett before the match was called.
