DUBUQUE, Iowa  – The Coe College women's tennis team played a rescheduled match from earlier this season Tuesday afternoon at the University of Dubuque, taking down the host Spartans 6-1 in its final dual match of the fall. The Kohawks opened the competition with a strong showing in doubles as the three teams swept the early stages. Aisha Gurung / Addison Leasure, Sophia Fain / Alice Tysoe and Cosette Gaines / Alli Hagness cruised past their opponents in doubles, picking up 6-0, 6-1 and 6-2 victories respectively. In singles, Coe won five of six matches, all in straight sets. Leasure, Gurung, Hagness, Tysoe and Maria Bello Escobar picked up victories in the 2-6 spots for the Kohawks with Gurun and Hagness earning a 6-0 decision in one of their sets.
