Nabarrete leads Women’s Swimming & Diving at Luther College Invite

DECORAH, Iowa – The Coe College women's swimming & diving team was in action for the final time in 2025 over the weekend, competing at the Luther College Invite. Devyn Nabarrete led a strong effort for the Kohawk women over the weekend, picking up three individual point-scoring finishes including a pair of fifth-place finishes in the 200 Breast and 100 Breast. Nabarrete finished with times of 2:32.88 and 1:10.48 and added an additional point-scoring finish in the 200 IM with a mark of 2:19.71, good enough for 13th. Jordan Hughes also had three solo point-scoring efforts for Coe, finishing 16th in the 200 IM, 15th in the 400 IM and 15th in the 1650 Free as she displayed her ability across numerous strokes. Valerie Gutierrez and Hollye Gutierrez had two point-scoring efforts each, finishing 12th and 10th in the 200 Fly and 100 Fly and 14th and 10th in the 100 Back and 200 Back. Coe's top relay finish came in the 200 Medley, as Hollye Gutierrez, Devyn Nabarrete, Valerie Gutierrez and Natalie Pirozek placed 10th with a time of 1:55.74.
