CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa — Coe College women's basketball player Caydee Kirkham earned her second weekly honor of the season from the American Rivers Conference Monday afternoon, being named the league's Women's Basketball Player of the Week. Kirkham, who has now earned the honor six times in her career, led the Kohawks to a 2-0 week with wins over Buena Vista and Wartburg. The senior from Carthage, Illinois extended her 20-point scoring stretch to five games, scoring 21 against the Beavers while adding seven rebounds and two assists before an impressive 20/8/8 effort against Wartburg as the Kohawks knocked off the Knights 65-51. Kirkham, the 2024 A-R-C MVP, is currently fourth all-time on Coe's scoring lists with a chance to continue climbing the ranks with 1,310 points through eight games of her senior season.
