GRINNELL, Iowa – The Coe College men's track & field team was in action Saturday at the Grinnell College Invitational. The Coe men finished seventh on the overall team leaderboard, led by point scoring finishes in seven different events. The Kohaws were paced by Chris Baker who continued his strong senior season, posting a second-place finish in the shot put and a third-place effort in the weight throw. Mozes Hoy joined Baker with a point-scoring finish in a field event, leaping 1.67m to finish fifth in the high jump. Coe's 4x200m relay team of Isaiah Morgan, Talon Sargent, Jabari Woodbury and Ryan Hines had the team's best finish of the day, placing second with a time of 1:33.29. Sargent and Woodbury also earned themselves individual point scoring finishes, placing fourth in the 60m dash and sixth in the 400m dash respectively. Jared Thoma was the final individual point scorer for the Kohawks, placing seventh in the 3000m run with a mark of 9:23.57.
