WAVERLY, Iowa – The Coe College men's track & field team was in action for the first day of competition at the A-R-C Championships Friday evening. The Kohawk men were led by a point-scoring finish from the Distance Medley Relay squad of
Jared Thoma, Colin Chojnowski, Andrew Livaudais and
Gad Kanago, finishing eighth with a time of 11:03.09.
Chris Baker finished just outside another point-scoring effort in the shot put, leading Coe's four entries with a ninth-place finish mark of 15.08m.
Murphy Aucutt and
Jex Schutjer finished 18th and 20th respectively in the shot put while
Talon Sargent and
Isaiah Morgan finished 15th and 19th in the 60m prelims.
Josh Peters was the final Kohawk in action for the day, posting a long-jump mark of 5.78m which placed 18th.
