JACKSONVILLE, Ill. – The Coe College men's track and field team competed for the first time in its 2025 outdoor season Friday evening at Illinois College's True Blue Open. Despite a weather-altered meet, The Kohawk men put together a strong effort in the meet, recording eight point-scoring finishes in an 11-team meet. Coe's top performance came in the 4x100 relay as
Ryan Hines, Isaiah Morgan, Jabari Woodbury and
Talon Sargent finished second with a time of 43.89. Sargent also picked up a pair of individual point-scoring finishes, placing fourth in the 100m and 200m with times of 10.96 and 22.30.
Davian Santiago also registered a pair of point-scoring finishes, placing sixth in the 400m Hurdles and seventh in the 110m Hurdles.
Isaiah Morgan, Jabari Woodbury and
Lane German were the final Kohawks to earn top-eight finishes on the day, claiming point-scoring places in the 200m, 400m and 3000m steeplechase.
