CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – Coe College baseball players
Jack Walsh and
Ethan O'Donnell were honored in a pair of all-region releases announced on Tuesday afternoon. Walsh, a sophomore from Dubuque, was named all-region by both the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) and
D3baseball.com while O'Donnell, a senior from North Liberty, was recognized by the ABCA. Two of the top pitchers in the conference, Walsh and O'Donnell anchored Coe's starting staff as they combined for 10 wins and 130 innings on the hill. Walsh and O'Donnell ranked 28th and 48th in DIII in ERA while Walsh was third in WHIP, 11th in hits per nine, 16th in strikeout-to-walk ratio and 26th in complete games. Walsh picked up third-team honors from D3baseball.com and second-team recognition from ABCA while O'Donnell was a third-team ABCA all-region selection.
