ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The Coe College women's cross country team earned the team title in its first meet of 2025 Friday evening, taking first place in the Webster Opener. Junior
Lily Mayo picked up where she left off last fall and paced the entire field, running a 5K time of 21:29.1 in gusty conditions. Mayo edged second place by over five seconds and was joined in the top five by fellow Kohawk
Brieannah James who turned in a time of 22:49.0 to finish fifth.
Alexis Vaughn (14th),
Natalie Reifsteck (16th),
Roz Hoefflin (18th) and
Alondra Mathena (32nd) concluded the individual finishes for the Kohawks who had 35 team points to finish atop the podium.
