CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa — Coe College student athletes Kanyon Bryte, Kamen Rangelov and Jack Walsh were honored by the American Rivers Conference Monday afternoon in the league's weekly release being named the Men's Basketball Player of the Week, Male Athlete of the Week and Baseball Pitcher of the Week. Bryte helped the Kohawk men's basketball team go 2-0 in the final week of the regular season, posting a career-high 29 points and 18 rebounds in a double OT victory at Central. He followed with a near double-double against Simpson, totaling 12 points and eight rebounds in a 15-point comeback victory over the Storm. Rangelov was dominant at the 2026 A-R-C Championships, earning Male Swimmer of the Meet honors after three individual victories which were all school and meet records. He hit NCAA B-Cut standards in the 50 Free, posting a blistering time of 54.97. Walsh earned the league's first Pitcher of the Week honor for 2026 after a dominant start against UW-Stout. The junior from Dubuque tossed 5.1 scoreless innings while allowing one hit with eight strikeouts for his first win of the season.
