BLOOMINGTON, Ill. – The Coe College men's track & field team competed Friday and Saturday at Illinois Wesleyan's Keck DIII Select, taking on schools from across the region.
Mozes Hoy made headlines for the Kohawks at the meet, breaking the school heptathlon record with a total of 2865 points as the junior from Denver placed ninth overall.
Jaden Royal also continued his dominance in the triple jump with another victory, leaping 13.85m to top the field.
LaRon Donald rounded out the top-10 finishes in the long jump, clearing 6.40m as he placed seventh overall.
Talon Sargent, Justin Kappner, Michael Vigil and
Bailey Schinderling completed Coe's top individual finishes throughout the remainder of the meet with strong efforts in the 200m & 400m, 3000m, high jump and weight throw.
