Alyssa Olson

Alyssa Olson, a 2019 Coe graduate, joined the Kohawk coaching staff this fall after an outstanding playing career.
Coach Olson was a 3-time All-Conference Selection, 2-time Conference Pitcher of the Year, 6-time Conference
Pitcher of the Week, 2-time NFCA National Pitcher of the Week, Fastpitch News National Player of the Week, 2-
time NFCA All-Region Player and, in 2019, was named a NFCA All-American. She was also named a Capital
One (COSIDA) Academic All-American in 2019

Alyssa played high school softball at Cedar Rapids Jefferson where she was a 3-time All-State Pitcher. She was
a volunteer coach at JHS in 2016-2017 and enter her 3 rd season as the pitching coach at Iowa City Regina.

Alyssa graduated from Coe with a Chemistry degree, a Collateral in Biochemistry and intends to begin Medical
School in the fall of 2020. She recently became a certified EMT.
