Frank Wallace

Frank Wallace joined Coe's track and field staff in August of 2017. Wallace comes to Coe after spending two years as a graduate assistant at Southwest Minnesota State University. During his two years there, Wallace created and coordinated strength and conditioning programs for short sprinters, long sprinters, hurdlers, horizontal jumpers and vertical jumpers. At SMSU, Frank coached a NCAA DII National Competitor, a NCAA DII National List Provisional Qualifier and 25 NSIC All Conference Track and Field athletes over two years. 

While coaching at SMSU, Wallace received his Masters of Science in Physical Education: Coaching Philosophy, with an emphasis in Coaching. Prior to becoming a graduate assistant, Frank studied at Brair Cliff University where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sports Management and was a scholarship recipient on the track and field team. Wallace also holds a USTFCCA Track and Field Technical Certificate. 

As a college athlete, Wallace competed in the 55m, 60m, 100-meter dash, 4x200 relay and anchored the 4x100 relay. As a junior, the 4x100 earned Second Team All-American Honors and broke the school record with a time of 41.33. As a senior, the 4x100 meter relay team qualify for NAIA Championships where they set a new school record with a time of 41.08, finishing 10th at the National meet and earned Second team All-American honors again. In his four years, Frank was a four-year letter winner, a three-time NAIA National Qualifier, a two-time GPAC Conference Champion and also received USTFCCCA honors. 

Wallace is a native of Omaha, Nebraska where he attended Omaha Burke High School. He is the youngest of four siblings.
