Stephen Vassalotti joined the Kohawk staff in the winter of 2023 at the Head Strength & Conditioning Coach. He came to the program after serving in the same role at Dakota State University since 2017. Vassalotti was an all-conference football player at the University of Dubuque, starting 41 games from 2009-13. Following graduation, he served as graduate assistant in the strength and conditioning department while earning his master’s degree. A native of Cross Plains, Wisconsin, he also has experience working with the University of Northern Iowa, Marshalltown High School, the Dubuque Fighting Saints and the Merge Performance Institute, working with athletes in a variety of sports and environments. Vassalotti and his wife, Jessie, have a son, Jaxon.
