CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – Hunter Yrigoyen has been named the new Sports Information Director at Coe College and will officially start on Monday, October 14^th.
 
Yrigoyen is a 2017 graduate of fellow American Rivers Conference school, Luther College. After graduation Yrigoyen had year-long stints at Wofford College and, most recently, the University of Denver.
 
At Wofford, Yrigoyen served as a Media Relations Intern from 2017-2018. He covered Men's and Women's Soccer, Men's and Women's Tennis, and Women's Basketball. His other responsibilities included collaborations with coaches and players and on-air broadcasting for athletic contests.
 
In 2018, Yrigoyen became the Communications Coordinator at the University of Denver, working with Women's Basketball and Skiing. His work included writing, doing graphics and producing photo and video content for both their webpage and social media platforms.
 
A graduate of Iowa City West, Yrigoyen knows the Eastern Iowa area and the American Rivers Conference well.
