CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - The Coe College women's soccer team knocked off Nebraska Wesleyan 1-0 in double-overtime on Tuesday evening at Clark Field. Coe improves to 6-5-2 overall and 1-2-1 in the A-R-C while Nebraska Wesleyan falls to 11-3 and 2-2 in the A-R-C.

Kacey Baker came up with four saves in the opening half to keep NWU off the scoresheet.
Nebraska Wesleyan kicked off the second half with two early scoring chances but neither attempt was on frame. Coe recorded its first shot in the 58th minute after a good cross found
Amanda Hiebert who just missed with her attempt. The Kohawks had their best chance to score in the 83rd minute when
Sydney Schroder hit a
curling shot that was stopped by the NWU keeper. Despite three late chances for the Prairie Wolves Baker stayed strong in goal and sent the game to overtime.
Nebraska Wesleyan continued to pepper the net with shots but Baker stood tall and kept the shutout alive in the first ten minutes of extra time. Coe's first shot of overtime came in the 103rd minute but
Carlin Morsch was unable to find the back of the net. Just three minutes later Hiebert found Schroder who powered it past the keeper to secure the first conference victory of the season for the Kohawks.
