CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - The Coe College men's soccer team dropped its final non-conference match of the season on Tuesday, falling 4-0 to UW-Platteville at Clark Field. The Pioneers and Kohawks played a scoreless opening 15 minutes but a goal in the 18th minute gave the visitors a first half lead. UW-Platteville built upon the lead before the end of the first half as it scored in the 41st minute from a set piece opportunity. The Pioneers added a pair of goals in the second half, scoring in the 51st and 55th to secure the victory over the Kohawks. The loss drops Coe to 1-11-2 overall and 0-3-1 in the A-R-C while UW-Platteville improves to 8-2-2 on the season.

Match Facts:
- The teams played a relatively slow opening 15 minutes of the match as neither team created any true scoring chances until the Pioneers capitalized on a long throw-in chance. Jacob Keller restarted the play for UW-Platteville and put the ball into a dangerous area in the box as Lucas Godon pounced on the loose ball for the goal.
- Platteville and Coe continued to play a back-and-forth match after the opening goal but the Pioneers used another set piece late in the half to double their lead as Quincy Ott's free kick delivery was headed home by Alex Wano.
- The Pioneers scored two quick goals in the second period, tallying in the 51st and 55th minute as Jack Gentilli scored a pair of goals to push their lead to 4-0. The Kohawks continued to fight over the remainder of the second half, earning a corner in the 82nd minute but the Pioneers kept the Kohawks off the board and recorded the clean sheet.
