CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - The Coe College bowling teams continued their seasons at the Cedar Valley Open and the Mid States Championships over the past two weekends with the women's team climbing into the top-35 of the rankings while the men rank inside the top-70. The women's team earned a sixth and fifth place finish at the Cedar Valley Invitational while the men took eighth and sixth in the two-day tournament. Katrina Kendle led the way for the Kohawks individually, earning third team all-tournament honors after taking 17th place overall. The season continued last week at the Mid States Championship in Wichita, Kansas where the women finished 13th out of 26 teams while the men took 21st out of 28 total teams. 
 
Up next: Coe will be back in action on October 30 and 31 when it competes in Mount Mercy's 5 Seasons Open in Cedar Rapids.
