PELLA, Iowa - The #4 Coe College wrestling team opened its dual meet schedule on Thursday evening, defeating A-R-C opponent Central 30-7. The Dutch started the dual well, winning the opening match at 125 but the Kohawks responded with back-to-back wins including a tech fall from freshman Bryce Parke. The hosts claimed victory at 149 to tighten the match but the Kohawks swept the remaining six matches to secure the 30-7 victory over the Dutch. Senior heavyweight Kaleb Reeves ended the dual with a bang, recording a pin in the final match of the night to help Coe move to 1-0 in dual matches.
