CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - The Coe College men's tennis team defeated Augustana (Ill.) 6-3 on Sunday morning at Clark Racquet Center, keeping their perfect 2021 record intact. The Kohawks started strong in doubles taking a 2-1 advantage before winning four-of-six singles matches to ensure the victory. The win moves the Kohaws to 8-0 overall while Augustana (Ill.) falls to 1-1 on the year.
 
Coe got off to a strong start in doubles, picking up wins at the number one and number two doubles positions. Rami Hemaidan/Bo Wilson and Jon Lansing/Nathan Meskell secured the opening victories for Coe while Augustana won at number three doubles. Hemaidan, Wilson, Lasnsin and Meskell all went on to win their singles matches and move the Kohawks to 8-0 on the season.
