ROCK ISLAND, Ill. - The Coe College women's tennis team dropped a non-conference matchup 7-2 to Augustana on Saturday afternoon. The Kohawks fell behind 3-0 after doubles play and were unable to complete the comeback, winning just two matches in singles competition. The result drops the Kohawks to 7-8 on the year while Augustana improves to 1-0 overall. 
 
Despite coming up empty in doubles play, the Kohawks kept it close at number two and number three doubles, falling 8-3 in both matches. In singles, Michaela Pinto and Mikayla Heath picked up Coe's lone victories at the number four and number five positions. Pinto took down her opponent 6-1, 6-1 while Heath won 6-3, 6-3 to give the Kohawks to team points.
