CEDAR RAPIDS, IA – The Coe College Men's Tennis team fell to #40 Wisconsin Whitewater 2-7 Saturday afternoon at the Clark Racquet Center. The Kohawks drop to 12-2 on the year while the Warhawks improved to 7-1.
Rami Hemaidan & Bo Wilson continued their stellar doubles play over the weekend securing the first point of the day winning 8-3 on court one. Whitewater bounced back and took wins of 8-3 and 8-4 on courts two and three to lead the match 2-1 going into singles.
The Warhawks extended their lead to 4-1 with wins on courts four and three. Hemaidan capped off his weekend undefeated securing the second point for the Kohawks with a 6-4, 1-6, 6-2 third set win on court one. Whitewater closed out the meet winning in straight sets on court six and a tight super tiebreak win on court five.
