CEDAR RAPIDS, IA – The Coe College Men's Tennis defeated Loras College 8-1 in their final home match of the year. The Kohawks improve to 13-3 (7-0 A-R-C) on the year while the Duhawks drop to 8-4 (3-1 A-R-C).
The Kohawks captured a 3-0 lead after doubles picking up solid wins at all three spots.
Jon Lansing/Nathan Meskell secured the first point for the Kohawks with an 8-3 win at number two. Shortly behind was
Jordan Oaks/Jack Cook recording an 8-5 win at number three, and
Rami Hemaidan/Bo Wilson completed the sweep winning 8-5 at number one.
Hemaidan, Lansing, Meskell, Wilson and Oaks all won their singles matches in straight sets to get the Kohawks to eight points on the day. Loras took a close match on court six to secure their only point of the day.
