Women’s Tennis Takes Two A-R-C Matches on Saturday

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - The Coe College women's tennis team swept a pair of matches against Loras and Dubuque on Saturday at Veterans Memorial Tennis Center. The Kohawks downed the Duhawks 7-2 in the opening match and went on to blank the Spartans in the afternoon match. Coe took two of three points in the double competition against the Duhawks and then won five of the six matches in singles to cruise to the opening victory. The Kohawks dominated from the jump in the second match, sweeping both doubles and singles competition to earn the afternoon win. The results improve Coe to 3-1 on the season as the team has won three straight matches.
