ROCK ISLAND, ILL. - The Coe College women's cross country team competed in its final race of the regular season on Saturday, taking part in the Augustana Interregional Invitational. The event, which featured 25 teams from across the Midwest, was hosted at Saukie Golf Course. Coe was led by junior Crystal Burke, who finished inside the top 200 with a time of 25:35.8. Fiona Mahler set a new personal best in the race, finishing with a mark of 26:25.2. Cailyn Wright, Alexis Vaughn and Alondra Mathena all crossed the finish line for the Kohawks in their final tune-up before the conference championships. The University of Chicago claimed the team title at the event while Kassie Parker of Loras College earned the top spot individually.
