DUBUQUE, Iowa - The Coe College swimming and diving teams opened their seasons on Friday evening with a dual meet at Loras College. The women claimed a 124-92 victory over the Duhawks while the men fell 140-55 in the dual. The Kohawk men and women both had multi-event winners in the dual, claiming 12 titles overall. Lauren Pio earned a pair of individual wins in the 200 IM and 100 Breast while helping Coe's 200 Free Relay team of Pio, Valerie Gutierrez, Margaret Rhodes and Izzy Craig to the top spot. Rhodes, a freshman from Decorah, also picked up a pair of individual victories in her first collegiate meet. The men were led by Zach Kolker and Luke Baldwin who began their senior seasons well, claiming a pair of titles each. Kolker took the top spot in the 200 Free and the 100 Back while Baldwin took the title in the 200 IM and 100 Breast.
