KIRKSVILLE, Mo. - The Coe College women's tennis team faced a pair of DII opponents over the weekend at the Truman Invitational, taking on Quincy University and the hosts, Truman State. The Kohawks had some solid performances throughout the day despite securing just three victories overall. Emma Lassen, Courtney Carstensen and Maria Bello Escobar all claimed wins in singles for the Kohawks in the round-robin style event. Coe's top singles player Madison Schultz suffered a pair of defeats on the day but kept things close with both opponents, falling in a tiebreak in each match.
