CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - The Coe College women's tennis team got back to winning ways after suffering its first defeat of 2022, earning an 81 victory over Illinois College on Friday afternoon. Coe took control of the match in doubles, winning two of three contests which featured a pair of 8-1 decisions from
Madison Schultz and
Jania Carter-Johnson and
Claudia Bilkey and
Courtney Carstensen. The Kohawks secured the win with a dominant effort in singles, sweeping the competition en route to the win. Coe improves to 9-1 overall with the win while Illinois College falls to 4-9 on the season.
