Box Score CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - The Coe College women's tennis team ended its fall dual season with a narrow 5-4 defeat over UW-Stevens Point on Saturday. The Kohawks, who end the season with an impressive 10-1 record in duals, were led by an important 2-1 decision in doubles.
Madison Schultz and
Jania Carter-Johnson capped off their perfect doubles campaign with another win at the top spot, earning an 8-4 victory to end the season 12-0.
Emma Lassen and
Claudia Bilkey also got a crucial win in doubles, earning an 8-3 decision at number two. The Kohawks claimed the victory with a trio of singles wins, getting wins from Bilkey and
Courtney Carstensen to end the fall on top. The win moves Coe to 10-1 overall while UW-Stevens Point drops to 7-2 on the year.
