GRINNELL, IOWA - The Coe College women's track and field team turned in an excellent performance to begin the season on Friday evening, taking home the team title at the Grinnell Opener. The Kohawk women claimed five event victories and posted numerous top-10 marks and personal bests in both track and field events. Sangai Dukuly started her sophomore season off with a bang, winning the 200-meter dash and triple jump while helping the 4x400 team earn the top spot. Her jump of 11.05 meters in the triple jump was a new personal best and moved her into second-place on Coe's top-10 list. Hannah Pecharich and Tracy Allen also picked up individual wins at the event, taking the top spot in the pole vault and the weight throw respectively. Both marks were good enough to move the Kohawks into their respective top-10 lists while Allen's toss of 14.55 was also a personal best.
