CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - The Coe College women's tennis team opened its spring schedule with a come-from-behind 5-4 victory over Augustana College on Sunday afternoon at Clark Racquet Center. The Vikings got off to a strong start in doubles, winning two of three matches to hold a slim margin ahead of singles play. Coe battled back in singles, picking up victories at number one, four, five and six to complete the comeback. Senior Emma Lassen was the only Kohwk to go 2-0 in the match, winning her doubles match at number one with partner Isabella Hoppenjans before securing a 2-6, 6-1, 6-2 victory at number four singles. The victory moves Coe to 8-2 on the year while Augustana drops to 5-8.
