ANKENY, Iowa - The Coe College women's cross country team continued its 2022 season on Saturday morning, competing in the Grand View Invitational. The race featured mostly NAIA and college competition with Mount Mercy and Grand View taking first and second overall. Crystal Burke turned in a season-best time for the Kohawks in the 5K, posting a time of 21:38.34 to finish first for her team. Cailyn Wright was Coe's second runner across the line and also posted a new collegiate PR with a time of 24:08.68. Alexis Vaughn and Natalie Reifsteck also had new college bests on Saturday, turning in times of 24:42.53 and 25:11.83.
