ORLANDO, Fla. - The Coe College women's tennis team dropped a non-conference matchup to #29 Denison on Tuesday, falling 8-1 to the nationally-ranked Big Red. Coe saw its opponent take an early lead, winning two of three doubles matches to go ahead. Madison Schultz and Courtney Carstensen secured the team's lone win of the match at the number two position, winning 8-7 after a tiebreaker which the pair took 7-4. The Big Red went on to handle the Kohawks in singles competition, winning all six matches in straight sets including three where they did not drop a single game. The Kohawks drop to 11-4 on the season while Denison improves to 7-2 overall.
