DUBUQUE, Iowa - The Coe College women's track & field team completed its final regular season meet on Friday, taking part in the Loras College Dr. Tucker Open.
Tracy Allen continued her stellar season for the Kohawks, posting the second-best hammer throw in school history to earn sixth overall. The junior from Lawrence, Kansas turned in a personal-best toss of 45.52m, improving on her previous best of 43.39m from earlier this season. Allen was joined by
Jaydyn Palmer in the top eight of the hammer standings with the Jesup native finishing seventh with a toss of 44.82m. Palmer also earned Coe's top individual finish at the meet, taking second in the shot put with a mark of 13.24m.
Sangai Dukuly gave the Kohawk women their third top-10 mark of the day in the long jump, posting a jump of 5.10m to finish fifth and move into ninth all-time.
Cailyn Wright and
Piper Boggs also earned personal-best marks and finished inside the top 20 of their respective events as Wright posted a new PR in the 400 hurdles while Boggs set new bests in the shot put, hammer and javelin.
