Carlie Miller as the pair earned an 8-7 victory in a tiebreaker to earn a point for Coe. Lake Forest raced out to an early lead in singles with wins at number one and three before a match-clinching victory at number four. Coe did pick up a victory at number two with
Sophia Fain claiming a 6-2, 6-7, 1-0 win, beating her opponent 11-9 in the tiebreaking set.
Maria Bello Escobar and
Carlie Miller also played at number five and six singles respectively, each owning a 1-0 set lead in the match before they were called.
Up Next: The Kohawks are back in action on Sunday, April 21, hosting Grinnell College at Clark Racquet Center at 2 PM in their final match of the regular season.
