MOUNT VERNON, Iowa - The Coe College men's track and field team secured a Bremner Cup point for the first time since 2017 on Saturday at the Cornell College Invitational. The Kohawk men narrowly edged the Rams in the dual-scoring format, earning 13 top-eight finishes and three podium positions throughout the day. The effort was led by distance runner
Lewis Kleman who claimed a first-place finish in the 1500m with a season-best time of 4:02.69.
Chris Baker continued his strong outdoor campaign with yet another podium finish in the discus, recording a throw of 44.92m to place third overall. Coe's final top-three finish of the day came from its 4x100 relay team of
Kade Kreinbring, Isaiah Morgan, Joshua Peters and
Paul Cory who combined for a time of 43.99 to place second.
